Kansas State University is committed to fostering a diverse student, faculty, and staff environment that is rooted in respect and fair practices. The Office of Affirmative Action accomplishes this through collaboration with students, faculty, and staff in hiring practices, training, and reporting. Our goal is to serve as a resource for the university and to ensure that fair, equitable treatment and practices apply to all regardless of race, color, ethnicity or national origin, gender, sexual orientation , gender identity, religion, age, ancestry, disability, military or veteran status. Our ultimate goal is to take an active, preventative approach to unfair or discriminatory practices before they become formal complaints or concerns.
