**There is a campus-wide hiring freeze for faculty and staff positions supported by the state general fund. Positions that are funded from grants are exempt from the hiring freeze; therefore, please contact the departments to determine the status of positions on this list**

FOR DEPARTMENTS:

Classified and unclassified temporary and grant-funded positions are exempt from the hiring freeze. For all other positions, regardless of  funding and where you are in the employment process, we will need specific written approval from the President, Provost or Vice Presidents Shubert or Bosco or their designee. The written approvals can be in the form of an e-mail or letter with their signature. Obviously, if you've already offered a position to someone, we will honor that without specific authorization. Affirmative Action will have a record of authorizations granted prior to the hiring freeze.

Please obtain written approval from the President, Provost, or Vice Presidents Shubert or Bosco or their designee to begin a search, authorize interviews or offer a position.

Due to the hiring freeze, we are returning search documents.  Please obtain written approval from the President, Provost or Vice Presidents Shubert or Bosco or their designee.
