Seminars & Equity Action Workshops

ADVANCE Distinguished Lecture Series
Distinguished professors from across the country are participating in this ADVANCE lecture series at the invitation of K-State's tenure-earning women assistant professors. The purpose of this series is to facilitate professional connections between women faculty members in the Colleges of Agriculture, Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Human Ecology, Technology & Aviation, and Veterinary Medicine and leaders in their research areas.
Equity Action Workshops provide ADVANCE participants with greater understanding of gender issues and how to address those issues so that they will be prepared to create a more equitable working climate across the K-State campus.
