Organizational Chart [.pdf]
The K-State ADVANCE organizational chart shows how the ADVANCE participants and initiatives are related.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee directs, assesses, and makes policies for the project.

Steering Committee
The Steering Committee works with the participating colleges and partner departments to facilitate the project activities.

Partner Department Heads
The ten partner department heads oversee the ADVANCE department-level initiatives. They have taken on the task of forming faculty and staff committees to revise their websites and study gender-equitable policies within their departments.

Internal Advisory Board
The Internal Advisory Board is composed of the Science, Engineering, and Mathematics (SEM) department heads other than the six partner departments. The role of this group is to provide advice and feedback to guide the Executive Committee, the colleges, and the partner departments as they develop and implement new programs. They are also critical partners in implementing the lessons learned from the six partner departments.

ADVANCE Office Staff
The ADVANCE staff manages the communication needs, financial administration, and progress-tracking for all of the ADVANCE initiatives. The staff includes a Project Coordinator and Student Assistants.

Others
Outside consultants provide the ADVANCE program with valuable expertise in the fields of gender research, website design, and evaluation.
