Don't wait to start thinking about college. If you are considering K-State - or any other Kansas public university - you should start planning now. Meet any one of these three options and you'll meet the requirements for admission to K-State.
Exceptions OptionThere are circumstances that may prevent students from meeting the admission requirements. If you have encountered unusual situations that keep you from meeting the requirements, please contact the Office of Admissions. As many as 10 percent of new freshmen may be offered admission, based on other measures of ability to succeed at K-State (KSA 76-717). Apply NowApplying for admission is the first step. K-State's goal is to admit all students who have the potential to be academically successful at K-State. We also want to make the admissions process as simple as possible. High school students are encouraged to initiate the application process early in their senior year. Your application process should include these steps : 1. You may obtain an application form from the Office of Admissions, your high school counselor or here on the web. 2. Take the ACT on one of the national test dates. We recommend taking it during your junior year. Have your scores sent to K-State by entering the ACT college code number for K-State (1428) on the test registration form. SAT scores may substitute ACT scores. K-State's SAT code number is 6334. 3.
