Military and families
The University's military-inclusive environment led both Military Advanced Education and G.I. Jobs magazines to call K-State one of the nation's best.
For future students to the Manhattan campus, we strongly encourage a personal campus visit. You can visit with an admissions professional, financial aid, academic areas of interest and our benefits office. You can get a lot of questions answered and be moving forward with confidence!
We also recommend applying as early as you can before the semester when you want to begin your studies.
Costs
Military personnel stationed on active duty in Kansas, their dependents and members of the Kansas National Guard can attend classes at the in-state rate.Military credit evaluation
We evaluate your military training and experience for possible college credit. The evaluation is optional and has no bearing on your admission status at K-State, and it does not include evaluation of transfer work from other educational institutions.
Student services
An office dedicated to nontraditional and veteran students is here to serve you. The office provides information on scholarships, academic assistance, support services, veteran student ambassadors and childcare options.
