Campus life
Recreation
K-State's sports and fitness programs cater to everyone no matter their athletic abilities. About 88 percent of our students participate in some activity through recreational services like club and intramural sports.
Club sports
Compete with teams from other universities on nonvarsity club teams. K-State is home to nearly 30 club teams, including soccer, fishing, table tennis, paintball and more.
Intramural sports
Play sports you enjoy on campus without the pressure and time commitment of varsity sports. K-State's intramural program hosts more than 60 individual, dual and team sports. Competition is divided into men's, women's, co-rec and living group divisions.
Recreation center
Nearly 5,000 people per day exercise at the Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex. Inside you'll find gyms, indoor running tracks and more.
You can also exercise outside on 20 acres of fields and trails. Or rent canoes, kayaks, tents, sleeping bags and other outdoor equipment.
The natatorium features a pool for lap swimming, a recreation pool and a diving well.
Semester fees help pay for recreational activities. You'll be admitted free to the rec center and natatorium by showing your K-State ID.
Varsity sports
Paint yourself purple on the sidelines of Bill Snyder Family Stadium, or cheer on the Wildcats in Bramlage Coliseum. You'll love the excitement of K-State's varsity sports.
