A major in horticulture opens up a diverse field with various career options. Students will be developing a broad foundation by taking courses in horticulture, botany, chemistry, soils, mathematics, economics, a foreign language, entomology, plant pathology, plant physiology, genetics, and business. In addition, students will complete an internship requirement for graduation.Job opportunities are found in management, landscape design, and horticulture science.
