Notification to Faculty Regarding
Student Ratings

Teaching faculty should be notified in September if student ratings from that Fall semester are to be included in the documentation they submit for annual merit salary, reappointment, tenure, and promotion.

The University Handbook (C34.1-C34.5) sets forth University policy regarding the use of student ratings. Questions about specific return procedures for the TEVAL System and the IDEA System should be directed to the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, 215 Fairchild Hall (2-7828). When alternate forms are used, procedures for returning reports should follow University policy.
