The main project for AASU is Asian American Heritage Month, which is held annually in the month of March. Activities for the month include performances from actors, actresses, dancers, speakers, martial arts demonstrations, workshops, and many other activities that may include food and fun.

Activities throughout each year vary accordingly with the members' and participants' wishes. In past years, AASU has participated in campus activities by endorsing awareness events, like the Eliot Chang comedy event. There are also conferences that provide cultural awareness and growth. These conferences are held at various locations including St. Louis, Chicago, and California. They provide workshops and many other activities to help young minds grow.
