The Academic Assistance Center is seeking successful undergraduates to teach in the Enhanced University Experience program during the 2006 fall semester. We will be hiring 18-21 students to serve as recitation instructors for EDCEP 111 University Experience and/or to lead study groups in social science, science, or algebra courses. This position requires a minimum time commitment of 10 hours per week for a total salary of $950 for the fall semester. Selected applicants are required to attend training sessions during the final 8 weeks of the spring 2006 semester.
We are looking for applicants who are good student role models, are committed to the concept of academic success for all students, desire to teach others how to learn, are able to relate to a diverse group of people, have proven success in social science and/or mathematics courses, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to students at the sophomore level or above.

Wed. Feb. 1, 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. in Union 209
Thurs. Feb. 2, 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. in Union 209
Students who are interested in the position but cannot attend a scheduled meeting should contact Dr. Lynch prior to Feb. 3 to arrange an alternate time. Deadline for scheduling an interview time is Feb. 13, 2006.
