We met in the union at 7:00 on September 24th. Members who attended were: Kara Alere, Beth Baker, Adria Jordan, Krista Nichols, Aaron Pflughoft, Katie Pinkall, Kaci Starr, Emily Tharp, Yancy Young, and advisor Michelle Haupt.

Emily began the meeting with introductions of the officers and a little bit of information about PTK at K-State for the new members. She suggested the idea of moving our meetings from twice a month to once a month and alternate meetings with service projects. She also encouraged everyone to pay dues, which are $5, whenever convenient.

Possible service projects for the coming year were discussed next. Emily suggested a fundraiser for St. Jude Children Michelle mentioned that the Admissions Office is looking for volunteers for a Q&A panel at the Transfer Visit Day on October 14th. They are also looking for students to help at the Community College Conference on October 28th. It is a conference for community college officials to help make a students transfer more smooth. We ended the meeting with an M&M game that helped everyone get more acquainted. Our next meeting is October 8th. Aaron will email the room number once it is reserved. Hope to see you there!!!!
