Executive meeting

Only officers and previous members from last year met for the first time at Java.

The first thing discussed was the Transfer Student Workshop. It had been moved from the Little Theater to the K S and U room upstairs. One member needs to stand outside the front of the Little Theater at 6:30 to direct people upstairs to the K S and U room. Panelist will be there between 6:30 and 6:45. They will be given 20 minutes to speak, and then it will be open up for the students to ask questions. An article will be in the Collegian August 23 about the workshop. It was motioned and unanimously approved to do sidewalk chalk. Anyone available will meet in front of the union at 6:00.

Important dates to remember:
-The next meeting will be on August 31 at 7:00 for officers and previous attendants only.
-September 12 Phi Theta Kappa will set up a booth for the activities carnival.
-September 14 is the Campus Life and Leadership Workshop at 7:00 in the Little Theater
